Infants

6 weeks - 12 months

In a Waldorf-inspired infant classroom, you'll find a cozy and nurturing environment with soft lighting and natural materials. Caregivers establish a predictable routine that supports infants' sense of security. Simple, handmade toys encourage sensory exploration and imaginative play. Caregivers build strong relationships with each child, fostering emotional security and trust. The environment respects each infant's unique developmental pace, with opportunities for gentle movement and sensory experiences.

Food for Infants & Crawlers

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing formula, breast milk, bottles, and baby food that are labeled with the child’s name. Bottled infants will be fed on demand. For older infants, a meal schedule is followed throughout the day. We are happy to work with any nursing mothers who wish to stop in.

What to Bring

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing diapers, wipes, and any creams or ointments the child may use. Each infant should have 2 changes of clothing labled with their full name.

Please do not send your child in any clothing that you do not want to get dirty.

Daily Schedule

Every infant progresses at a different level, thus, our teachers are flexible and focus on the needs of each individual child. Each day consists of a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, music, napping, eating, big-body play, group time, and one-on-one time.
