In a Waldorf-inspired preschool classroom, children thrive in a natural, inviting environment with wooden toys and natural materials. They engage in imaginative play, storytelling, and creative projects with beeswax and watercolors. A predictable daily rhythm supports their social and cognitive development, while outdoor exploration fosters a love for nature. Teachers focus on building relationships, promoting emotional growth through music and rituals, and providing nutritious meals to support overall well-being.
Meals & Snacks
Little Sprouts of Idaho offers breakfast, lunch, and snacks at set times every day. Meals follow the USDA food program and are balanced for optimal nutrition.
Please inform us of any allergies or food restrictions so we can work together to make the necessary arrangements.
What to Bring
Each child should have 1 full change of clothing labeled with their full name. Extra underwear is appreciated in case of an accident. Children should also have a blanket for nap time.
Please do not send your child in any clothing that you do not want to get dirty.
Daily Schedule
Each day consists of feeding, naptime, dynamic play, music, dancing, arts & crafts, puzzles, reading, and outside play (weather permitting). Games and activities are focused on preparing children for school. Activities are centered on the alphabet, creative arts, literacy, math, and science, as well as appropriate manners.
